Update from the government

Monday 16th March 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you can appreciate, things are changing very rapidly in regards to the guidance and update with Covid19. Therefore, the information that I sent out earlier has changed and I wanted to inform you of these changes as soon as possible.

The Government advises, at the moment, to keep schools open, however, households should isolate for 14 days if anyone shows symptoms. Therefore if anyone in the household has had the following symptoms then the whole household, including siblings at the school without symptoms, should stay at home for 14 days.

Symptoms:
Persistent cough and/or
High temperature

They have also advised against any unnecessary social contact or non-essential travel, along with other aspects relating to people with serious health conditions, the elderly and pregnant women.
They are also recommending avoiding places such as theatres, restaurants and similar social establishments.
I will keep you updated as soon as I possibly can with any changes and am happy to discuss any concerns that you may have.

Thank you for your continued support.
